Critical reception
Universal acclaim — Metacritic 90/100 (PC) and 91/100 (Xbox Series X/S); OpenCritic 100% recommend across 142 reviews. IGN scored 10/10.
On Steam the all-platform user score is about 80% positive. The Simplified Chinese region is the outlier at ~67–69% (Mixed / 褒贬不一), while other regions average ~86% (Very Positive) — the gap reflects localisation and Xbox-network complaints, not the Japan setting.
